This Privacy Policy describes how AniChronicle handles information when you visit anichronicle.com. AniChronicle is the publisher. Articles are published under the pen name AniSage. This page is not legal advice.
What this policy covers
This policy separates (A) information AniChronicle may process directly from (B) information third-party services may process when their code or embeds load. AniChronicle does not operate a first-party advertising or analytics warehouse, and this policy does not claim that AniChronicle stores data it does not actually keep.
A. Information AniChronicle may process directly
Messages you send us. If you email anichronicle.official@gmail.com or use the Contact page, we receive the content of that message and any address you provide so we can respond to questions, corrections, or privacy requests. We keep correspondence as long as needed to handle the request.
Forum, comments, or account activity, if you participate. If you register or log in to community features (including bbPress), WordPress may store a username, email address, and login cookies needed to keep you signed in. Published articles currently allow comments; if you leave a comment, WordPress may store the name, email, and comment cookie associated with that comment. AniChronicle does not require an account to read articles.
Hosting and security logs. The website host and any front-end security or content-delivery service may record technical request data such as IP address, user-agent, requested URL, and timestamps. AniChronicle does not use those logs to build advertising profiles.
WordPress cookies. WordPress may set cookies for logged-in users, commenters if comments are used, and administrative sessions. These are functional cookies, not AniChronicle advertising cookies.
B. Information third-party services may process
Third-party services process data under their own policies. AniChronicle does not control those processors.
Google Site Kit and Google Analytics
AniChronicle uses Google Site Kit to connect selected Google services. Google Analytics 4 is currently active for measurement. Google may collect analytics data using cookies, IP addresses, browser or device identifiers, and similar technologies, including the Google tag. Site Kit Consent Mode is enabled for the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland so those visitors start with analytics and advertising storage denied until they make a choice in the CookieYes banner. Visitors outside those regions may still see measurement before a separate choice. You can use the CookieYes preference control, browser controls, and, where available, Google Analytics opt-out tools to limit some measurement.
Google advertising services
A Google AdSense publisher account may be connected for future use. Google advertising services are not currently serving ads on AniChronicle. If and when Google advertising services are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses, browser or device identifiers, web beacons or equivalent measurement pixels, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, personalize advertising. Third parties may place or read cookies or use related technologies as part of ad delivery and measurement.
If and when ads are enabled, you can manage Google ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and review industry opt-out information at aboutads.info.
YouTube and other embeds
Some articles may include official YouTube or other third-party embeds. Loading an embed can allow that platform to set cookies or collect device and playback information according to that platform’s policy.
Google Sign-In
If a Google sign-in option is presented and you use it, Google processes the account information needed to complete that sign-in under Google’s terms.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site may use cookies and similar technologies for site operation, currently active Google Analytics measurement, and, if and when Google advertising services are enabled, advertising and measurement. A CookieYes banner records accept, reject, and preference choices. CookieYes is listed by Google as a certified CMP, but AniChronicle has not finished connecting the CookieYes account, so the certified TCF advertising path is not active yet. Analytics behavior depends on consent where Site Kit Consent Mode applies. Google advertising remains disabled until it is explicitly enabled later. Browser settings can also block or delete some cookies; doing so may affect site features.
Affiliate and sponsored links
AniChronicle does not currently participate in affiliate programs and does not currently earn commissions from outbound links. If that changes, this policy and a reader-facing disclosure will be updated, and commercial links will be marked appropriately.
External links
Articles may link to official streaming services, publisher pages, and other third-party sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices. AniChronicle is not responsible for their content or data handling.
Retention
AniChronicle retains contact correspondence as needed to respond, and retains WordPress account records for as long as an account exists. AniChronicle does not keep a separate first-party archive of advertising identifiers. Third-party retention is governed by those services.
How to contact us or request a correction
Use the Contact page or email anichronicle.official@gmail.com. The same route is used for privacy questions and article corrections. The Editorial Policy explains evidence, AI-assisted drafting, and human review.
Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy when site behavior changes, including if Google advertising services are later enabled or if affiliate relationships begin. The updated page on this URL is the current version.
